We look for individuals who have a passion to help children and families, the drive and commitment to do the work, and the understanding to also take care of themselves. Caring for children and families can be tough work and we don’t hide that fact. But Saint Louis PARTNERS values its employees, so we support staff in a variety of ways throughout the year.

All of our agencies are accredited through the Council on Accreditation, which means we are held to a higher standard of delivering services to our clients. It also means we must hire qualified staff. We’re always wanting to grow our team with leaders in the field of foster and adoptive services.

  • Each foster care staff member must:

  • Possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work or a comparable human services field with two years of related experience

  • Build positive, professional relationships with parents and children to help them identify their strengths and needs

  • Advocate for children and families

  • Work with foster parents to ensure the needs of children are being met

  • Promote self-care
