FOUR AGENCIES. ONE MISSION.
Our unique partnership brings together more than 120 years of combined experience in the lives of children and foster care.
Our four agencies each share a track record of providing impactful and effective services and a relentless drive to enrich the lives of children in need. Every year through our foster care case management services, we collectively support the lives of over 500 children, working in partnership with parents and grandparents, our foster families and other important people in the lives of these children to ensure each child is given the opportunity to grow in a healthy and safe environment throughout their childhood. With our focus on family-centered care, we believe in upholding ourselves to the highest standards of foster care, to benefit both biological and foster families. To ensure we’re meeting these standards, all of our agencies are accredited by the Council of Accreditation.
As one team, we unite the individual strengths of each agency to provide the most comprehensive foster and adoptive care services in St. Louis.

Our Little Haven
Our Little Haven provides a wide-range of care for children, age birth through 21, and services for families since 1993 -- and is celebrating their 25th Anniversary! Our Little Haven serves the youngest victims of abuse, neglect, and mental or behavioral needs through a range of programs all designed to offer and facilitate early intervention. Offering both physical and mental health treatment to abused and neglected children during their formative years (ages birth through ten), coupled with treatment services for the entire client family.
Our Little Haven programs include Our Little Academy, Foster Care Case Management Services and Keystone Mental Health Services:
Our Little Academy - a full day program that provides therapeutic day treatment in a preschool setting for children ages 3-5 who cannot participate in a traditional preschool due to behavioral or emotional problems. Individual and group therapy, small class size (3-4 children) and a high therapist-to-child ratio (1:3) provides individualized treatment and needed support for children and families.
Our Little Haven’s contracted Foster Care Case Management Unit provides services for children and families involved in the foster care system. The children we serve range in age from newborn to 21 years of age. Case managers assist families in the goal of reunification, but if that is not possible, they work to secure a safe, loving, and permanent home for foster children.
Keystone Mental Health Services offers mental health treatment to children and families. The Keystone Mission is to seek to improve the mental health & well-being of clients, many who traditionally have limited access to mental health care, by decreasing symptoms, and increasing functioning (psychological/behavioral/emotional/developmental) through early intervention.
Good Shepherd Children & Family Services
Good Shepherd Children & Family Services was incorporated in July of 2006 and is a result of a merger of 4 Catholic Charities’ children’s agencies: Catholic Services for Children and Youth; Marian Hall Agencies; Fr. Dunne’s Newsboys Home and St Joseph’s Home and Family Support. The merger was a result of 2 years of study and consideration by agency leadership with the intention of forming a more efficient system of delivering services to children and families. Together these agencies brought a rich history of providing quality services in this region that date back to 1834.
